Natural Log Homes partnered with Pioneer Loghomes from Canada to work together on this large project for Central Otago. We have built this post & beam part of the project. This is a two story, 5 bay building of 250m2.
Te-Anau, Southland, New Zealand
Post & Beam residential home in Te-Anau, Southland. Log post & beam creates the main structure of this house, the space in between posts is filled with conventional framing and aluminium joinery. Some logs we used on this house are up to 14m long, and some posts are 3 stories tall.

Fiordland Lodge
Is perfect example of Post & Beam building method. Hand peeled New Zealand Douglas Fir logs feature throughout the building with exposed log beams and log trusses supporting sarked timber ceilings. Natural Log Homes is proud to built this luxury Fiordland Lodge. It is set on a superb site with commanding views out across Lake Te Anau. Across the lake to the west lie the mountains of Fiordland National Park, an area of over three million acres of untouched wilderness and part of the much larger South West New Zealand World Heritage Area.
Pool House
On the pictures bellow you can see beautifully handcrafted pool house with tree stumps. This entertainment area provides endless talking point.
